Instructions: Indicate whether the sentences below are simple sentences (SS) or compound sentences (CS).

Example:  A. The mechanic fixed the car yesterday. SS
               B. John brought the car to the shop yesterday, and the mechanic fixed it. CS

1. Janet does her laundry on the weekends. ___________

6. William and Jose play soccer and go to the gym every Saturday. ___________

7. Jose wants to go to Colombia to visit his grandmother in the summer. ___________

8. Robert wants to play soccer with William and Jose, but he has to work on Saturdays. _________

9. You can have spaghetti or pizza for dinner. ___________

10. Donna will take a taxi to the airport, or her father will take her to the airport. ___________
