Past Habit: Used to


Instructions: Change the underlined verbs in the following sentences from the simple past form to the past habit form with used to + verb.

1. When I was younger, I swam in that lake every summer evening.

2. When Brianna was a student at Hofstra University, she studied in the library every evening.

3. When Mark lived in upstate New York, he went skiing in the winters.
